Coming Soon...

This site, like a set of politicians' campaign promises, is a list of things that may or may not actually come to fruition. They are things that I want to do with my site, but due to constraints on my schedule and limitations in my web-authoring ability, may not actually be feasible for some time. However, it seems likely to me that at some point in the future when I actually have time, they may happen. Don't hold your breath. The layout is essentially the same as the Updates page. Separated by <hr> tags are the dates that the promises are made, followed by an unordered list of the promises. Each promise, if it is ever carried out, will be so noted with a different dingbat and an achievment date in parentheses. Just so you know.

• I hope to add either a movies section where I tell you what I think about various movies, simply a review of one movie, Fahrenheit 9/11, that's getting a lot of talk around here lately. Depending on how ambitious I am, I'll do this.

• It doesn't seem like I should be in the position of making new promises, since I still haven't made good on any of the others...but here goes.
• I plan to put this page on the menu or mainpage or somewhere that it'll be accessible other than the updates page. 5.05.04: Done.

• A flash menu, or at least part of one. Since part of my menu is pretty much static, I'm thinking of replacing it completely with flash, either maintained by Ashwin or generated at www.flashbuttons.com. I've already got a working document for you to look at. Added on 3.10.04. Removed several minutes later because of issues. 5.05.04: Pretty much gave up this idea forever.
• I'd like to do away with the frame menu idea altogether, but this will take some thinking. 5.05.04: DONE! Took forever to figure it out. Actually, I just had to do some reading about SSI. But it's done. No more frames. Whee hee!
• I'm coordinating with my friend Joe to record an mp3 of Paul Sucks. When I get that done, I'll certainly post it. Still trying on 4.06.04. I need to get this together, because it will be awesome once I do it. I'm planning to add a harmony and perhaps a bridge if I can think of anything. 5.29.04: It's finally been done, for better or worse. The mp3s are available through the Music section of the gallery.
• I'm going to add two sections to the Gallery. They will be entitled "Photos" and "Informal Writings", respectively. I'm going to find some substance for each one before I post them, but they're in the wings, so to speak. Still haven't happened on 4.06.04 because I'm doing a lot of other stuff. Be patient. 5.05.04 and 5.09.04: added each of these sections.
