ExxonMobil's Political Views

ExxonMobil fully supports President George W. Bush's Energy Plan, which favors the continued use of fossil fuels instead of pursuing cleaner and more renewable alternative energy sources. However, ExxonMobil is in the oil business, and we fully support only those initiatives that promote our interests, regardless of other ramifications. President Bush's plan to drill into the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and conquer Iraq for its fuel resources are quite conducive to our stated interests. That's why we contributed $1.2 million to the GOP during the 2000 campaign cycle, making us the second-highest campaign supporter in the energy industry, matched only by Enron Corp. We are already supporting Bush-Cheney '04, as well.

ExxonMobil's Environmental Policy

As long as we're selling oil, we don't care.

ExxonMobil  has always been completely in favor of polluting the world. While things may get messy for future generations when people begin mutating and the air is no longer breathable, we find these details insignificant compared with our own profit. As long as our customers support us by buying our fuels, we have no reason to change our environmental policies.
