Chamber ChoirI wrote this song starting in April 2004, when I first found out that I was one of the juniors appointed to say farewell to the seniors at the chorus concert. I wanted to give them a good send-off, and so I started playing around with ideas for the song. It started off sentimental, then went funny, and then I jammed the two together to make a massive song that was both. Included below are the piano chords (above the lyrics), as well as the lyrics themselves. If you came for an mp3, I have one for you. Fortunately, I'm slightly more satisfied with it than with my recording of Paul Sucks. However, being honest with myself, I can't say I'm totally satisfied with this one either. But at least I hit the right pitches for some of the notes. And the piano generally lines up with the vocals. (I had to record them separately, so I wasn't able to just do it naturally.) Anyway. Without further ado, here's the file.

G F
Will Frodo destroy the Ring?

We might find out if Paul would shut up
G F
But he won't and so I'm stuck.
D C
Singin' happy birthday to everyone
G F
"Where's my pitch pipe?" "I don't know!"
D C
"Who's got the solo?" "I think it's you."
G F
"It doesn't matter, they're taking a test anyway..."
