Comedy of ErrorsThe reason I got this position was because Tamsin went on vacation. It was traditionally her job to help out with the CYT stuff, but this year I was called upon to fill her place. The play was a modified version of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors. The performers were children between the ages of eight and twelve. The audience was made up of their parents, and the lighting was adequate. For the level of experience that the young performers had, they were remarkably good. I was able to hear and understand most of the lines from all the way up at the lighting console, and a few of the characters really seemed to get into their parts. Certainly they were not as convincing as some of the later performances I've seen, but they were good. E-mail here with suggestions, comments, or whatever else.
